Copyright Licence Subscriptions for St Stephen's School

Music

The following two licences allow us to print words and music still under copyright. There are limitations that need to be followed.

CCLI Australia: Christian Copyright Licensing International including SongSelect

This licence allows us to use songs from SongSelect, Christian songs from music books owned by the school or staff members. It does not cover music owned by parents or churches.

Our CCLI Licence (Christian Copyright Licensing International) allows us to put music into a PowerPoint, but we are required to do the following:

  • To be printed on the bottom of the last slide of a PowerPoint song (it may be in smaller print)
  • Used by permission CCLI Licence No 207838 Name of composer. Name of book. (+staff name if applicable)
  • If the music does not belong to the school, the name of the staff member owning the music should have their name at the end. We only have permission to use that music while the staff member is employed by the school. We are not allowed to use music belonging to other people outside the school.

Performance

This licence allows us to use works for performance. There are limitations that need to be followed.

Print+

This licence gives us rights and guidelines for education on what we can copy, and how much we can copy, from books, other printed material and artistic works like art works and images. There are limitations that need to be followed.

Co-Curricular licence - Public Performance License

This licence allows schools to play films to students for non-educational purposes. This licence which St Stephen's pays for, is known as the 'Co-Curricular licence'.
