Because Ozti's remains were found on a glacier, there was a dispute as to which country the remains belonged to.
They conducted a geographic survey and found that his remains lay just 97 metres from the border in South Tyrol, Italy.
A new DNA study has revealed that Ozti "shopped locally" for materials to make his clothes. This National Geographic article shows the reconstruction of the clothes Ozti was wearing and how scientists have used DNA testing and autopsy findings to discover new things about the migration of man, etc.
