One Search aka "Databases' tab in Discover

One Search: Databases configured in Duncraig Secondary site (as at Feb 2019)

The following subscription and 'free' databases (shown by star) have been configured in the DS site and will be searched automatically, along with all other resources.  The results are available form the "Databases" tab in Destiny Discover.  Only the 'Free' databases can be seen by guests, the subscription databases become viewable once a user authenticates to the catalogue.

The only subscription not showing here is "National Geographic Kids," which is available as a paid and free database. This will be added to the DP and CL sites.

Book Reviews

Students and staff can rate a title, add a written review or upload digital content to the review section of a book title.

Book Reviews provide a way to share details and opinions about a book.  Once created, any patron will see the rating and book review from the title details page.  NOTE: there is a limit of 2000 characters (yes, characters NOT words).

The digital content can be a streaming video, an audio file or a slideshow. Once uploaded, the digital content is stored on the Destiny server and a link appears in the Reviews tab of Title Details.
