Introduction

To investigate the production process of a staple crop in society and evaluate the sustainability of the farming practices in the future.

You are to required to select ONE of the products listed below which is most likely purchased by your household and investigate how the production and demand for this product creates networks of trade and economic interdependence on a local, regional, national and international scale. You will also need to look at how sustainable is the trade, in your chosen product.
