Caligula: 37AD to 41AD

Caligula, formally known as Gaius, was the third Roman emperor, ruling from AD 37 until his assassination in AD 41. He was the son of the Roman general Germanicus and Agrippina the Elder, Augustus' granddaughter.

Nero: 54AD to 68 AD

Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, was the fifth Roman emperor and final emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, reigning from AD 54 until his death in AD 68. He was adopted by the Roman emperor Claudius at the age of 13 and succeeded him on the throne.

Julius Caesar 100BC

Gaius Julius Caesar, was a Roman general and statesman. A member of the First Triumvirate, Caesar led the Roman armies in the Gallic Wars before defeating his political rival Pompey in a civil war, and subsequently became dictator from 49 BC until his assassination in 44 BC.

Augustus (63 BC - AD 14)

Caesar Augustus, also known as Octavian, was the first Roman emperor; he reigned from 27 BC until his death in AD 14. He is known for being the founder of the Roman Principate, which is the first phase of the Roman Empire, and is considered one of the greatest leaders in human history.

Marcus Aurelius: 161AD to 180AD

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus was Roman emperor from 161 to 180 AD and a Stoic philosopher. He was the last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors, and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace, calmness and stability for the Roman Empire lasting from 27 BC to 180 AD.

Emperor Marcus Aurelius, the philosopher-king whose reign was the last in the Roman Golden Age and the last of the so-called Five Good Emperors. Marcus Aurelius presided over Rome during a difficult period of the early Germanic invasions and managed to keep the empire intact winning the Marcomannic Wars. He is known as one of the prominent adherents of the Stoicism school of philosophy as the author of famous Meditations.
